First tentative steps....
After dropping the chassis and boxes of parts in the garage I couldn't resist putting a couple of the panels in place to get an idea of the task ahead. By the looks of things the panels are generally a good fit with just the odd trim required to fully clear some of the welds, I'm also missing the drivers foot-rest panel - I'll call Westfield in the week to see it it should have been part of the starter kit or not.
The big day...
Saturday 25-Jan-2014 was my collection day, I set out with my Dad at 7:00 from Fareham and, after a quick pit stop at Macky-Ds we were at the factory just shy of 10:00.
My chassis and starter parts were all laid out ready for loading
I met Russ and another chap who, after supplying us with a mug of Westfield coffee, set about checking off the parts against the picking list. I have the say the whole thing was very friendly and professional, with all the Westfield staff bending over backwards to make sure everything was in order. I was amazed at just how many parts there were in the starter kit - all that appeared to be be missing was the brake master cylinder this is on back order.
As always there were a number of customer, demo and part-build cars in the workshop. Dad was particularly taken by the 'JPS' colour scheme on the below track car.

As always I took the chance to take as many random shots around the workshop as possible - you never know when one might give a clue to a late problem!

2 Weeks to go.....
Finally cleared the garage after selling the last bits from the BMW I stripped when I was planning to build a Dax Rush. After swapping the work bench around and putting the trestles in that my Dad made for me it's becoming obvious that my build will be cosy having only a single width garage.
